Installation

The experienced installers and project managers at Interlock ensure every door and interlock system installation is carefully carried out to the highest quality standards. Our team possess the knowledge and expertise to help clients choose the most suitable products for their needs, and guide them through the process of initial design all the way through to the handover phase.


Our in-house qualified internal trainer trains all installation crews at Interlock to become familiar with all the latest products and any technical updates. Every installation is also subject to a thorough inspection by our trainer, which ensures all client requirements are being met.

Following an order being placed, Interlock prepare a detailed technical submittal for client approval. All details about the installation are included as well as data sheets for the components that are being used. This technical submittal is typically reviewed several times before being eventually approved.

Interlock will gather all the required materials for a project from our extensive store and manufacturing partners once the technical submittal has been approved. Should a part be unavailable, clients will be notified before sourcing a suitable replacement.

Where possible, any background assembly that can be completed off-site is completed, which enables the installation process to be as efficient as can be. In addition, any software or drawings which may be required will be prepared at this stage.

Our installation crews make sure all installations are completed in an organised, smooth and timely fashion in order to meet deadlines that have been set by the client.

Once all work has been completed, the installation is witnessed by the client/ main contractor and the signed handover document then forms part of the Operations and Maintenance manual for future reference.
